CFE/Lenovo Instructional Innovation Grants Information Session

Participants in this Information Session will hear a brief overview of the 2021-22 CFE/Lenovo Instructional Innovation Grants program and Call for Proposals. To help generate ideas about possible projects, representatives from Lenovo will provide an overview and demonstrate various products, tools, resources, and solutions available that might be used to enhance teaching and learning such as:

1. Lenovo VR Classroom 2 enables Virtual Reality (VR) immersive education experiences using seamless hardware (Mirage VR S3 headsets) and device management to engage students in any field of study. Students and instructors can create their own interactive experiences using 360 videos, WebXR, or Virtual Worlds using gaming engines.
2. Hybrid Classroom enables faculty to bring their full presence into digital environments using purpose-built conference solutions. Teachers who are animated storytellers or who demonstrate concepts with physical aides can use this more dynamic environment.
