Designing a SoTL Research Project

This workshop is designed for faculty who want to learn how to design a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research project. Facilitators will guide participants through the steps of developing a research question, choosing a research design, identifying what data or evidence to collect, and planning a timeline to conduct and publish their research.  

Learning outcomes:  
At the end of the session, attendees will be able to: 

• Identify the primary aims of their SoTL project.
• Clarify your research question and research design
• Identify what data or evidence will be collected
• Develop a SoTL project plan and timeline.
