Equity in Teaching Institute

During this intensive institute focused on course design, we will center the needs of students marginalized because of various aspects of their identities, and re-envision our courses so that we are prepared to meet the learning needs of all our students. Along with space for reflection and discussion, we will offer practical techniques to implement more equitable teaching. Applications are due November 8 and can be completed here: 2019 EqT Institute Application. Space is limited and priority for the December EqT Institute will be given to applicants with prior experience in backwards course design. The institute will be offered again over spring break, 2020. Those placed on the waitlist may also consider applying for the CFE’s Course Design Institute.
