Building Relationships with Others
These next four sessions focus on enhancing your interpersonal relationships. We will start with a refresh regarding your active listening skills that serves as the backbone for interacting effectively. Your understanding about why you would give feedback and how to give feedback offers ways you can address the nuances about how others hear and respond to feedback. Creating a culture and commitment for giving feedback productively allows the flow of work and creativity to move forward and increase learning from our shared and different experiences.
We will define and demystify conflict through identifying conflict styles for you individually and the possible styles of others. Identifying styles, helps to build conversations that are sensitive to others and effectively address, resolve and engage creative solutions.
Our work in understanding the elements and dynamics that foster collaboration will energize teams and other group meetings and discussions. We will address the key factors and actions that define collaboration and serve as guiding principles.
Meetings are our common vehicles to collaborate and communicate about a variety of topics. We will focus on how to plan and build an agenda, how to facilitate productive meetings and how to determine the key steps for follow-up actions to ensure dynamic and productive meetings.
