TEAM ADVANCE Professional Development Workshop

Dr. Sheila Kannappan (Professor, Physics and Astronomy) will facilitate an interactive workshop on negotiation and communication skills. The workshop is tailored for women, but all faculty are welcome. TEAM ADVANCE especially encourages early-career faculty to attend.

Topics include:

• Interacting with peers, colleagues, and advisors
• Negotiating resources and rewards
• Managing conflict and knowing when to seek help
• Creating a positive impression to achieve professional goals
