Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
SoTL is a systematic, evidence-based approach to improving teaching and learning. UNC faculty members who are taking steps to improve student learning can conduct research to help gauge the effectiveness of the changes they are making. Such research can provide useful feedback on teaching methods, serve as a foundation for scholarly articles and conference presentations, and help bolster faculty vitae.
