Viewing this data may raise more questions than it resolves about your courses. We encourage you to further explore student outcomes and teaching practices by engaging in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Carolina faculty engage in SoTL when they give a presentation at a professional conference on how on student learning is impacted by changes they make to a course, or when they conduct scholarly inquiry on how various student populations (e.g., transfer students, first generation college students, or racial/ethnic groups) fare in their classes.
