Learn to use the CREATE method in your classroom

January 28, 2019, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM EST

CREATE is a systematic method for teaching students to engage in the research process using published papers. When the method is used, students have opportunities to read parts of a publication, analyze and critique the data, and predict the next research question. The CREATE method can be used with students of any level, and it is a way to teaching research thinking and communication skills with any discipline.
Brian Hogan, Teaching Associate Professor of Chemistry, UNC-CH
Host: The College of Arts and Sciences and The Center for Faculty Excellence
Note: there will be some overlap between Nov 7 and Jan 28th workshops but there will be enough difference that you can attend both.
