Partners for Equity in Teaching: UNC-CH Peer Support Core

The UNC-CH Peer Support Core promotes and enhances peer support for staff, students, and faculty to broadly address mental health issues, COVID-19, and racism and other stressors. The Core also promotes peer support as an agent for positive culture change on the campus – the culture of care. This includes facilitation of the Carolina Peer Support Collaborative, providing technical assistance across campus, and initiating the LSN program among others.
Join Dr. Ed Fisher, Professor and Global Director of Peers for Progress, and Samantha Luu, Associate Director of the UNC-CH Peer Support Core, to learn more about peer support and how others have included peer support in academic classes and programs.
