Whether it’s inquiry and scholarship in the arts and humanities, biomedical research, clinical or basic science, or scholarly writing in its myriad forms, research is at the core of innovation, discovery, and scholarly production. The mission of CFE Research is to support faculty in meeting their goals in research and scholarly writing through workshops, presentations, panel sessions, online resources, and consultations and to provide assessment support for CFE and faculty initiatives.
Research Programs
Summer Writing Group
The SWG program, which runs from May to August, brings together faculty members from all disciplines and career stages in small peer groups to help spur writing productivity and foster cross-disciplinary connections relevant to writing projects. Join the Summer Writing Group.
Faculty Fulbright Scholars
CFE Research is the hub for faculty interested in the Fulbright Scholars and other Fulbright programs, with informational sessions, connecting aspiring and past Fulbright recipients, and assistance with applications to Fulbright programs. Research Consultations
The CFE provides individual consultations on research grants and scholarly writing. In addition, the CFE provides assessment consultations and support to inform Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) practice and dissemination, instructional innovation, and course redesign.
