Faculty Programs

Launching September 16, 2019

TEAM ADVANCE Faculty Mentor Training is open to all faculty seeking to enhance their mentoring skills. The TEAM ADVANCE curriculum is adapted from Entering Mentoring, developed by the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER), and emphasizes equitable and intersectional mentoring skills and practices to support mentees of diverse backgrounds and experiences. The core curriculum consists of five workshops.

Launching Early October 2019

Women ADVANCE Leadership encourages and supports mid-career faculty seeking to enhance their skills and advance to senior leadership positions. Workshops feature a respected and accomplished woman leader sharing her story, followed by a highly interactive, skills-building discussion. Participants will form smaller peer groups to network, reflect and develop tools as they continue their learning experience.

TEAM ADVANCE Peer Mentoring Circles are open to early-career (pre-tenure or fixed-term) faculty seeking to develop holistic well-being and advance professional goals with a cohort of peers. The program encourages networking, community-building, and self-advocacy.
