Women ADVANCE Leadership is a seminar-style program to encourage and support mid-career women faculty seeking to enhance their skills and advance to senior leadership positions. Throughout the 2019-20 academic year, a multidisciplinary cohort of mid-career women faculty will have the opportunity to attend a monthly Women ADVANCE Leadership Workshop. Workshops will feature a respected and accomplished woman leader sharing her story, followed by a highly interactive, skills-building discussion. Participants will also be encouraged to form smaller peer groups to network, reflect and develop tools as they continue their learning experience. Additional professional development workshops will also be promoted by the Center for Faculty Excellence and TEAM ADVANCE.
